Symposium Proceedings

(1) Extension of deadline
The deadline for submission of LAPD20 proceeding to the Journal of Instrumentation (JINST) is extended to September 8.
(2) Referee Proposal
Please notify the guest editor Prof. F. Skiff of the University of Iowa Prof. Skiff
of your proposed referees for proceedings. At least two candidates are needed.
(3) Access to papers
If you wish to have your paper published, please select the following.
"I do not wish to receive open access to my paper. There is no cost to the author".
If you wish to have your paper open access, the publication fee will be borne by the author(s).


The proceedings of the LAPD20 Symposium will be published in a special issue of the Journal of Instrumentation (JINST). All invited speakers and accepted presenters (oral or poster) are encouraged to submit their original papers to this special issue. Publication will be free of charge. All submissions to the proceedings will undergo the normal peer-review process, in accordance with the rules of the journal.
The deadline for manuscript submission is the 8th September 2023 (extended). This deadline, prior to the conference, is necessary to allow the reviewing process to start during the conference.
Please submit your paper according to the following instructions.

1. Make sure that they have an account/password set up on the JINST website: https://jinst.sissa.it/

2. Log-in and click on the link for "submit a proceedings contribution".

3. Scroll down (it is currently near the bottom of the list being very recent) to the box for "20th International Symposium on Laser-Aided Plasma Diagnostics - LAPD20"

4. Click on the button for "submit a paper" and follow the instructions.
